This week I decided to allocate my blog post for the week to the topic of infographics. I chose to use accessibility and equity as a topic for creating my infographics. The design principle that resonated the most with me and also played a distinctive role in my infographic for this week is the use of hierarchy to help focus on my design. This principle was essential in creating balance and encouraging engagement with my topic. By incorporating user controls into my infographic, users can customize the pace and sequence of their learning, maximizing individual autonomy and choice.
I enjoyed trying out infographics with Canva, especially using the stickers and playing around with the colour palettes and templates.

Hi Annie, your infographic looks great! The colour scheme and graphics that you chose really suit each other and make the entire graphic look cohesive and complete. I often find myself struggling to find graphics that suit my topic and follow the same color scheme or are from the same series in Canva. I’d say something that could be improved upon could be the layout. With the empty space at the bottom it looks unfinished or that something is missing. You could likely adjust and enlarge the text boxes and readjust things around. Otherwise its lovely!
